Week 3 of Sewing, Simplicity S3106

For this week’s project, I pulled out a fabric I love and have been saving. There are certain fabrics that feel special and are hard to use because there is the genuine fear that you’ll either ruin it or won’t end up loving the out come of the project. Then the fabric feels “wasted”.

This linen fabric was one of those fabrics. I chose to use Simplicity pattern S3106 for it and didn’t make a muslin and lucked out because the fit and final product I love. This was a great and easy sew as far as pants go. I finished it up right before I left town so that pictures aren’t the greatest, I literally took them moments before heading to the airport. But here they are and I love them!

Next up in my sewing, are some garden attire. Who doesn’t love a wardrobe made specifically for working in the garden?
