My first post kinda gives you a little background on my interest in sewing. You can read that here. https://sewsanityblog.wordpress.com/2017/09/24/welcome/
But the basic stats of me are as follows. I’m a wife of 14 years, a mom of 5 humans and two kitties, I’ve done four crossed-country relocations in the span of 6 years and I’m currently a stay-at-home parent and a student. Sewing is truly my link to sanity in this busy season of life.
I love the creativity and the spacial puzzle that it is. I use to be afraid to sew because I was afraid to screw up the project, not anymore. I’m going for it, learning so much and screwing it up as often as I succeed but instead of letting the failures discourage me I’m even sharing those with all of you. Check back on Fridays for Flop Friday. Here’s the last one. https://sewsanityblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/13/its-a-flop-friday-it-was-a-minnie-flop/
From October 2017 until October 2018 I did one project a week for a year. It felt like a big goal but I’m happy to report that I did it. Now I’ve started it for a second time. I started in May of 2020 and will finish up in May of 2021. I also share the occasional “flops” or total failures, and refashions. Follow along if you want for the next 52 weeks of projects!
