All of the fabric

I had a large piece of Brushed Poly in brown and decided one day that I would make up the whole piece. I made two tops that I have posted about before on this site, but I also made underwear and a headband with the scraps. I used up the whole piece and I think that all of the makes are wonderful additions to my me made wardrobe.

The tops are the Simplicity 8609 top that I’ve made over thirty times now, in almost every color imaginable, and the Styla Westminster top.

The underwear was something that I just started doing recently with my scraps and I’m in love. This pattern is the Linden knickers pattern from Petite Stitchery. This is not a paid advertisement. I bought the pattern myself, and I love it. They are easy to make and the most comfortable underwear that I own. I seriously can’t get enough of them and the sleep bra that is also included in the pattern is one of the most comfortable items I’ve ever slept in.

You can find it here if you are interested. https://petitestitchery.com/products/adult-linden

This pattern is a great scrap busting pattern. You have to get it if you feel like you are drowning in unusable scraps from previous knit projects. This allowed me to used up a large portion of mine while providing me with comfy underwear, win win.

  1. I love making undies with scraps from other projects! I haven’t heard of this brand before, but I am intrigued by the apparent lack of elastic. I use FOE on all of mine, but in the summer, I hate the elastic because it doesn’t dry quickly and irritates my skin.
