I have no idea why I’m sewing up pants like crazy when temperatures are unseasonably hot but here I am. I’ve made these pants before and loved them so I immediately cut out another pair and then they sat since about November of last year. I’m trying to clean out my works in progress and this qualified since it’s been in progress for awhile.
Here are the original pair of these M8206 that I made with fabric from Minerva.com. You can read about these here. https://www.minerva.com/posts/1122168

And here are the new pair . . .

They turned out super cute and just in time to not wear them anywhere because it’s seriously like an oven outside.
I thought about turning the pockets to have them contrast the stripe but ultimately chose to have them blend and I think that was the right choice. I’m so glad they are finished and off the table but I’m bummed that I won’t be wearing them for a few months until the temps can find their way back to the 70s.
Next up on my sewing table? A few more works in progress need to be addressed and then more of the shirts and pants/shorts that I’ve been making. I have a new fabric coming from Minerva that will be totally different (sequence), so you’ll have to check back to see what I do with that.
Happy Sewing, Friends!
