I thought this fabric was fun and looked like the fabric chosen for the pattern example. I’d like to expand more classic and basic elements of my wardrobe. And “the little black dress” is definitely a basic essential. I bought enough fabric to do a dress and to do pants. I wanted some basic pieces that worked with a lot of other items I already own.
The pattern was easy to assemble and easy to tailor. I took in 6 of the seams from the bust to the hip.
The fabric is a knit with a shine on it. It had quite a bit of structure so it was really fun to work with.
The result . . . to die for.
